The small group ministry of HeartLand Church is home based. We meet in homes throughout the region each week. We attempt to reach those that God has naturally put into our lives through relationships, neighborhoods, or divine appointments. We do our best to invest in the lives of the lost and unchurched in order to reach them with the salvation of Jesus. Each group makes their own decision about childcare. The children's ministry will have small group sessions on Sunday during worship services.
The home based small groups are led by trained and chosen leaders who fully subscribe to the vision and strategy of HeartLand Church in reaching others through this ministry.
The groups facilitate and discuss truth with the view of incorporating what God has said into our lives. There are lines of accountability and mentoring. An equipping track will be put into place to move each member of the group into growing spiritual maturity.
The small group ministry prays, leads, ministers and fellowships with one another, edifying each one in the Lord.
